what i need

is to be left alone...let me figure things out without being pressured and "disciplined" to change. i was finally figuring things out. i don't need my parents in the way of this one.

what i need to change in my life is...

i need to be happy.
that's the first thing that came into my mind.

before you can have happiness you need to love and be loved.

not feeling happy or acting happy.

but turn from things that are of the material kind.

to be happy is when you put others before yourself.

see how your parental units are doing.

take their place for awhile.

its not easy.

if you think your parents are in the way ...

if they left you to defend for yourself...

left you to the world...

gave you up...

think one last time before their gone and you say "i don't need my parents in the way of this one."

like i said you'll have most of your life ahead of you

so make the most of it while your teenage years last.

I used to have problems with my parents from time to time during when I lived with them.

I understand.

The quote about trying to see things from their eyes is very valid though.

They probably don't want to see the world gobble you up.... and that's exactly what it does.

It puts a sugar veneer on many things that turn out harmful.

...

A pastor at a church I used to go to had a profound statement, that has been a GREAT benefit to my life.

He said: "Desire is a bottom-less pit. It is never satisfied".

Think about that one, when you look through the eyes of your parents. You may find they have found this out already.

Peace.
